PURPOSE:To perform constant tension coil winding work accurately be providing means for detecting tension in linear material, means for absorbing variation of tension in the linear material and detecting the linear speed and means for measuring the diameter of winding layer of residual material then bringing tension constant on the basis of outputs from each means. CONSTITUTION:A tension detecting section 7 holding a load cell 6 between supporting members for a pair of guide pulleys 4 and a variation absorbing section 11 where a spring 10 for separating both pulleys 8 is provided between the supporting members 9 for a pair of guide pulleys 8 are arranged at the linear material feeding side of a pay-off bobbin 1. Then a linear speed detecting section 21 is provided in said section 11. The bobbin 1 is provided with a lever 18 for measuring the diameter of the winding layer 17 of residual linear material while a lever angle detecting section 20 is provided to sid supporting member 19. On the basis of the outputs from each detecting section 7, 20, 21, a back tension motor 3 and a winding motor 13 are controlled to make the tension of linear material W constant. |
