<p>PURPOSE:To decide a faulty section through the execution of one test by a test device by comparing a data part from the test device side with a data string folded from a repeater of the next stage, selecting the data string when an error is detected and replacing the address part. CONSTITUTION:Many repeaters 2-4 are coupled in series to form a multi- stage relay transmission system. A test data string td transmitted from a test device 1 and a test data string dt transmitted foldedly from a repeater of the next stage are compared 7 at a prescribed repeater. When an error is detected through the comparison, the address assigned to the repeater preliminarily is inserted to the address part of the test data string td. Thus, the faulty section is decided through the execution of one test from the test device.</p> |
