PURPOSE:To perform a smooth speed change operation by making the turning supporting shaft of a bell crank approximately parallel with a line which connects the center of shake around the axial line of the shake end of a rod member and the center of connection between the rod member and the bell crank at the time when a change lever is in a neutral position. CONSTITUTION:When a speed change operation lever 10 is shaked in shift operation directions, a shift cable 12 is moved forward and backward in the directions of an arrow F, and this motion is transmitted to a change gear. When the lever 10 is shaked in select operation directions, the shake end 20c of the rod member is shaked as shown by an arrow G with the point, where a plane which includes the shake end 20c and is orthogonal to the Y-direction axial line and the Y-direction axial line intersect, as the center. Then, one end 24a of a bell crank 24 is shaked approximately in the X direction with a turning supporting shaft 22 as the center, and the other end 24c is shaked in the Y direction, and a select cable 14 is moved forward and backward in the directions of an arrow H, and this motion is transmitted to the change gear. Since the turning supporting shaft of the crank 24 is arranged to be approximately parallel with a line E, the extents of slide of select operation connecting mechanisms 20c and 24a are reduced. |
