Air-bubble bath mat with a permanently magnetic two-way valve

In an air-bubble bath mat (2) comprising two chambers (3, 4), a two-part permanently magnetic two-way valve (1) is inserted in the upper chamber around a perforation (7a) from the upper to the lower chamber (3, 4). Both the permanently magnetic annular disc (9) and the permanently magnetic whole disc (10) are magnetised along one of their transverse diameters, so that the north and south poles are located at mutually opposite points on the peripheral edge. The lower permanently magnetic annular disc (9) is integrated in a moulding (9a) which is in turn releasably inserted in the perforation (7a) in the central foil (7). The upper permanently magnetic whole disc (10) forms the lower surface of a turning knob (11) which is mounted so as to be rotatable by means of an annular sliding bearing (11c) in the circular perforation (6a) of the upper foil (6) and is also mounted so as to be removable. If opposite poles of the magnetic discs stand opposite each other on actuation of the turning knob (11) the valve shuts off the supply of compressed air to the upper chamber (3), so that only the lower chamber (4) with its spinal region (not shown) receives compressed air. Limitation to specific treatment areas is thus possible by a robust component of simple structure.
