The object of the invention is, in contrast to tailored ion exchanger circulation systems, the configuration of such systems with standardised and prefabricated components which can be transported with conventional pallet trucks and forklift trucks and in each case, depending on the process, can be assembled easily. This has the following advantages: - Assembly of the entire plant with little effort - Adaptability at all times to changing production conditions - Readily imposed restraints on the plant during changes in operation - Mobile plant units which provide for use of the distributed plants of a work site and for regeneration and concentrate treatment in a central effluent treatment plant of the factory.
