PURPOSE:To assure separation as well as to simplify posture control in aligning and feeding ring-shaped works having a protrusion such as a C-shaped snap ring, by supplying the ring-shaped works on a shoot rail with their protrusions directed toward the downstream in the feeding direction, and by inserting a guide pin into the ring for guiding those works. CONSTITUTION:C-shaped rings (W) are supplied on a shoot rail 5, positioning their projections (P) in the rear side with respect to the flowing direction to align the rings on the rail. When a C-shaped ring (W) stops after abutting on a stopper 6, a guide pin 11 moves upwards to project beyond the rail 5, so that a tapered section 11a advances into the inner periphery of the C-shaped ring (W) for supporting it. Then, the guide pin 11 moves horizontally as indicated by the arrow B, whereby the stopper 6 is opened against the force of a coil spring 9 to allow the C-shaped ring (W) to pass through it. Upon the ring passing, the stopper 6 is closed again by the coil spring 9 to catch a next supplied C-shaped ring (W). Such constitution allows to simplify posture control as well as to assure separation. |
