PURPOSE:To decrease an eye strain and enable a display to be read out, by applying a phosphor sporadically on the internal surface of a face glass, forming a blue light reflective film therebetween, and furthermore providing a light- absorbing layer thereon. CONSTITUTION:Respective yellow, green and red phosphor ly, lg and lr are regularly applied sporadically or stripedly on the internal face of a color cathode-ray tube which performs the multicolor display of characters and patterns used for the terminal display of a computer, a blue reflective film 3 is formed therebetween by means of a photoengraving process by using SiO2 powder colored with cobalt pigment, furthermore a light-absorbing film 5 made of black powder such as graphite or the like is provided thereon, and then an aluminum film 6 is applied on the whole surface. Consequently, a blue background color is formed by the blue reflective film 3, the color difference between characters and lines is increased, and thereby an eye strain is decreased and information can be read out rapidly and correctly. |
