A breathing apparatus comprises an electronic control means (1, Figs 3 and 4, not shown) and a breath frequency computer (2, Figs 5 and 6, not shown) composed of integrated switching circuits and connected together under the control of the electronic control means, the electronic control means comprising a time sequential control device including (timing house) shift registers (6-9) which are equipped with peripheral assemblies (10-13) to control via solenoid valves (21-23) and restrictors (31,32, Fig 1 not shown) the volume or pressure of the breathing process, and including control modules for forming limiting values for extremely dangerous parameter combinations, a digital frequency display (25) being provided for the apparatus and controlled by the electronic control means. |
