<p>PURPOSE:To prevent paper from being improperly supplied or being jammed, by providing a paper supply vessel with a hold-down member, the central portion of the front edge of which has an opening into which a feed roller comes. CONSTITUTION:A hold-down member 11, the central portion of the front edge of which has an opening 12 into which a feed roller 7 comes, is provided in a swingable manner for a paper supply vessel 6. When the vessel 6 containing copying paper 5 is inserted into a copying machine, the copying paper having a deformation such as a curl is pushed down by the hold-down member 11 so that the paper does not project out of the vessel but smoothly passes under the feed roller 7 and is securely set in a paper feeder.The copying paper 5 is thus prevented from being improperly supplied or being jammed.</p> |
