PURPOSE:To process easily the titled scale by embedding magnetic metallic wire rod having hard magnetism in a groove formed along a longitudinal direction of a nonmagnetic rod having a trapezoidal cross section, grinding the surface embedded with said magnetic metallic wire rod and obtaining a smooth plane of the magnetic material. CONSTITUTION:The groove 1 is formed along the longitudinal direction of a surface parallel to the nonmagnetic rod having the trapezoidal cross section. Magnetic metallic wire rods (Fe-Co-Mn-C alloy, etc.) having hard magnetism are embedded in the groove by welding, soldering or with adhesive, etc. The grinding by a precision grinder is performed so that the side surface in which said groove is formed and said magnetic metallic wire rods form the same plane. |
