PURPOSE:To improve the vividness of a picture and to process the picture in real time by outputting one digital signal on a basis of a digital value of input picture information and a code signal which improves the vividness of the picture. CONSTITUTION:An input digital signal (a) is delayed by a delay means 1 to become the first, the second, and the third digital signals (b), (c), and (d). These signals (b), (c), and (d) are inputted to a comparing means 5, and digital values of them are compared by comparators 6, 7, and 8 to output comparison results. A signal generating means ROM 9 selects and outputs one of preliminarily stored code signals on a basis of these outputs so that the vividness of the picture is improved. The first, the second, and the third digital signals (b), (c), and (d) are inputted to a selector 10, and the selector 10 selects and outputs one digital signal (e) on a basis of the code signal from the ROM 9. The vividness of the picture reproduced by this signal (e) is higher than that of the picture subjected to no processings at all. |
