Spline gears are used for many different applications, the spline nut being displaced in the taper parallel direction by rotation of the threaded cylinder head bolt. The two components which are displaceably arranged on the shaft of the cylinder head bolt are held by self- locking, in that the taper parallel has an inner flange, which corresponds to an annular recess applied below the cylinder head in the cylinder head bolt, whilst inwardly pointing indentations are provided in the spline nut at the broader end. Unassisted or accidental detaching of the components and hence any loss of parts essential to the functioning is thereby reliably prevented. <IMAGE>
