PURPOSE:To make it possible to measure pulse width with high accuracy, by correcting pulse width in the rising and the falling of a pulse signal by a shift register while the pulse signal is made sunchronous with a base clock and an auxiliary clock. CONSTITUTION:A base clock 5 having a large cycle and an auxiliary clock 13 having a small cycle are synchronously outputted from a clock synchronous circuit 12 to which a master clock is applied through a master clock 7, a frequency divider 8 and a reversal circuit 10. The rising of a quantized signal is made synchronous to this clock 5 by a synchronized circuit and the base clock 5 of a synchronous video signal 16 is counted by a counter 18. On the other hand, a pulse width corrected value in rising is stored by the shift output of a shift registor 14 from the shift start of said register 14 for sampling a signal 3 by the clock 13 to the rising start of the signal 16. At the same time, a pulse width corrected value in falling is stored in a register 21 and a pulse amplitude calculating circuit 25 calculates the pulse amplitude of the signal 3 with high accuracy corresponding to the outut of the register 19, 21 and the counter 18.
