The push gear for the switch blades of a toy railway is mounted below the table top supporting the railway, such that a pin connects the armature, which can be pushed back and forth by remote control or manually, to the switch blade slide. The subject matter of the invention is mainly characterised in that a lever, hinged to the armature, is coupled by means of a coupling member, e.g. a rotatable vertical shaft, to the switch blade slide (e.g. a connecting rod), and in that the coupling member is indirectly mounted in bushes (e.g. in an inserter) centrally in a bore hole of the table top. One of the advantages of this design for model-makers consists in the fact that simple round bore holes in the model plate are sufficient for assembly. <IMAGE>
