NEW MATERIAL:The compound of formula I (X is O or S). EXAMPLE:N-(2,6-Difluorobenzoyl)-N'-(3,5-dichlorophenyl)thiourea. USE:Insecticide exhibiting excellent insecticidal effect especially to diamondback moth, night crawler, etc. It effectively controls vermin at a low rate of application without causing environmental pollution. PREPARATION:The compound of formula I can be prepared by reacting (A) 2,6-difluorobenzoyl isocyanate or 2,6-difluorobenzoyl isothiocyanate of formula IIwith (B) 3,5-dichloroaniline of formula III in a solvent such as benzene, ether, etc. at 0-150 deg.C for 10min-5hr.
