For safe cultivation and support, in particular of tall-growing ornamental plants or useful plants by means of a stick of small diameter which does not impair the appearance of the plantation, it is proposed, to guarantee safe support of the plants even under the influence of great wind pressure, that the plant stick consists of a stick of small diameter which is straight or wound in its upper region and of a bottom support formed from a flat material blank, the bottom support being embeddable in the ground. <IMAGE>
