PURPOSE:To prevent the corrosion at an exposed part due to the etchant for the second electrode layer by a method wherein a part of the first electrode layer provided on the side of a substrate is exposed out of a semiconductor layer, and this exposed part is sealed and coated with a coating electrode layer. CONSTITUTION:The exposed parts 3a'-3c' of the first electrode layers 3a-3c exposed out of photosemiconductor layers 4a-4c are sealed and coated with the coating electrode layer 7 made of the same material as the second electrode layers 5a-5c in the parts which take charge in connecting terminals with an external circuit. Besides, the parts positioned at the points of junction, the intervals of adjacency of photosensitive regions 2a-2c are sealed and coated with the extension parts 5a' and 5b' of the second electrode layers 5a and 5b extending from the left-hand neighbor. Such a constitution does not cause the exposed parts 3a'-3c' to be corroded by the etchant for the layers 5a-5c. Therefore, the decrease of the yield and the increase of the seat resistance due to such a corrosion can be improved. |
