PURPOSE:To obtain a nonlinear digital and analog converting circuit of simple constitution which has desired nonlinearity by storing nonlinearly converted values in respective addresses of a memory and converting a read signal into an analog signal. CONSTITUTION:An address of the memory 4 is specified by the digital input signal to read a nonlinearly converted value stored previously in the address, and a linear digital and analog converter D/A8 converts it into an analog value. Consequently, direct processing is performed and the need for an arithmetic processing time is eliminated to improve the processing speed; and the contents of the meory 4 are only converted to vary nonlinear conversion characteristics freely and easily. Therefore, it is not necessary to use a circuit which performs complicate arithmetic processing and the circuit constitution is simplified to reduce the cost. |
