PURPOSE:To obtain an electrophotographic sensitive body superior in electric stability, strength, durability against repeated uses, etc. by forming on a conductive substrate a photosensitive layer contg. zinc oxide, a thermoplastic aromatic polyacrylate and a specified org. compd. as effective components. CONSTITUTION:An intended electrophotographic sensitive body is obtained by forming on a conductive substrate of an aluminum plate or the like a photosensitive layer contg. as effective components (A) 100pts.wt. zinc oxide; (B) a thermoplastic aromatic polyester, such as poly-2,2-propanebis(4-phenyl)isophthalate- terephthalate coester, expressed by formula I , n being 20-300, and (C) >=5pts.wt. compd. represented by formula II in which R1-R4 are each H, alkyl, or the like; R5, R6 are each H, alkenyl, or the like; R7, R10 are each H, hydroxyl, or the like: such as 1,1-bis(4-N,N-dimethylaminophenyl)-1-phenylmethane. |
