PURPOSE:To grind a woodwork frame object along the grain of wood in various peculiar directions so as to improve the quality of a product and its work efficiency, by providing a moving tool in the direction Y equipped with an angle setting device on a moving table in the direction X, further enabling a grinding part to be lifted. CONSTITUTION:Mounting a rectangular wood work frame object (a) in a prescribed position on a moving table 7 and moving a grinding part 26 of a sanding belt 25 onto the original point R in the left bottom corner of the frame object (a), a moving tool 12 is moved a little by a motor 11, allowing the grinding part 26 to be positioned in the left base point I ' of a frame material I and moving the moving tool 12 by controlling the drive of the motor 11, thus the frame material I is ground up to the right end point I''. Simultaneously with the end of the above grinding, the grinding part 26 is lifted and moved onto the base point II' of a frame material II by minor movement of the moving table 7 and the moving tool 12 and an angular change of a sanding head 21, further the grinding part 26 is lowered and brought in contact with the frame material IIafter being placed parallel to the grain of the frame material II, thus grinding the frame material II to the final point II' by moving the table 7, and then the grinding part 26 is lifted. Similarly grinding the whole frame material along the grain of wood, a high class article can be efficiently completed. |
