PURPOSE:To obtain the titled material having a filter layer, etc. not causing any adverse effect on photographic performance due to decoloration and elution during photographic processing by using a hydrophilic colloidal layer having microcapsules consisting of the core material of a dye and a substance soluble in an alkaline soln., as a shell material. CONSTITUTION:A silver halide photosensitive material has at least one hydrophilic collodial layer on a support, and this layer contains microcapsules consisting of a dye as the core material and an alkaline soln. -soluble substance, such as methacrylic acid methacrylate copolymer, as the shell material. A photosensitive material having a filter layer and/or an antihalation or irradiation preventing layer is obtained. It does not cause any adverse effect on photographic performance due to single decoloration or elution during photographic processing. |
