PURPOSE:To allow excellent call service to all slave stations by amplifying a voice receive signal to a proper level according to the amount of level attenuation of a voice signal between a master and slave stations. CONSTITUTION:The master station 1 of a data transmission system includes a programmable amplifier 24 in a receive signal amplification system, and its amplification degree is set to one of plural programmed amplification degrees. When a signal is received from a long-distance slave station, the amplifier 24 is set to a specific high amplification degree, and when a signal is received from a short-distance slave station, the amplifier 24 is set to a specific low amplification degree. This amplifier 24 is employed to amplify transmitted signal with the proper amplification degrees at any time according to the signal attenuation rates from the slave stations 2 and 3 to the master station 1. |
