The invention relates to a device for transmitting movement, of the toothed wheel type meshing with a motorised worm. The worm 52 is mounted so as to oscillate, in the vicinity of one of its ends, about an oscillation shaft 66 whose axis is parallel to the rotational axis 22 of the toothed wheel 32, and undergoes, on its opposite end, an elastic force exerted by means 84 for applying its intermediate threaded portion 50 under pressure onto the teeth of the wheel 32.
