PURPOSE:To attain precise calculation and programming simply by providing a parallel register with an auxiliary operation register and storing values overflowed from an operation register in the auxiliary operation register. CONSTITUTION:A read-only memory (ROM) 2 and a random access memory (RAM) 3 having an operation register temporally storing operated results are coupled with a microprocessor 1 and an internal memory 6 and a parallel register 5 storing plural parallel data are also connected to the microprocessor 1 to process the operation. The parallel register 5 is provided with the auxiliary operation register 51, which stores parallel data corresponding to the length of upper one word out of an operated result with the length of two words in case of maltiplication and stores a part less than a decimal point in case of division. The operated result stored in the operation register 31 is used as the parallel data for the succeeding operation as it is and the contents of the auxiliary register 51 are processed by a sequence program if necessary. |
