The invention relates to a vehicle wheel with a tyre having a cavity. In order to achieve a dynamically non-rigid tyre, even with variable spring properties, the tyre is to be operated not with overpressure but rather with a partial vacuum. So that under these preconditions the sealing of the tyre cavity is always ensured, the tyre beads rest against the inner circumferential surface of the rim body. A high-tensile, self-supporting belt is located underneath the tyre tread.
