The package consists of a deep-drawn part (20) to receive liquid or solid contents and a covering film (10) which covers the deep-drawn part at the top. In order to print information or instructions for the client on the covering film, or even for advertising purposes, the covering film projects at least on one side beyond the deep-drawn part and forms a continuation. If the space thus provided is not sufficient, the deep-drawn part may also have a continuation which is not welded to the continuation of the covering film.
