PURPOSE:To provide a cosmetic capable of activating the metabolism of the skin, by compounding the extracted component of the body of an aquatic life belonging to Mollusca or Arthropoda, or a yeast metabolite product obtained by the fermentation of the above component. CONSTITUTION:An aquatic life belonging to Mollusca (e.g. Liolophura japonica, ark shell, corbucula, short-necked clam, ear shell, turban shell, etc.) or Arthropoda (e.g. shrimp, king crab, krill, etc.) is extracted with water or a solvent to obtain an extracted component, which is optionally fermented with yeast to obtain a yeast metabolite product.
