In this despatch bag (10), the inside cover (32) of the corrugated cardboard material is constructed with grooves or incisions (34) so that easier deformation, i.e. bulging, of the despatch bag can take place about the longitudinal axis running through the filling opening and the opposite closed end. In this case, the great resistance of the corrugated cardboard material transversely to the longitudinal direction is maintained. The grooves or incisions can be made over the entire surface of the inside cover, but they may also be provided only on inner surface regions of the inside cover. <IMAGE>
