Each phase is pressurised with sterile gas in its own vessel. There pass through sterile fillers via the static mixer to a heated storage tank. The sterile filter is of the membrane type and has a pore size of 0.22 microns all of the pipework is sterilised with gas or steam. Each pipeline has a dosing arrangement. Any temp. sensitive material e.g. perfume is added after the static mixer. Downstream of the storage tank there is a homogeniser, cooler and pump.
