PURPOSE:To ensure assured writing/reading of information with a card without producing an electrical contact defect due to the dirt of the card, etc., by performing the transfer of information by electrostatic connection between the card and an external reading device. CONSTITUTION:When the data is transmitted from a processor CPU10, a switching element 13 is driven via a driver 12 based on a prescribed signal such as an internal clock of the CPU10 in response to the transmitting data. Thus a transmission signal is delivered from a transmission terminal 3c. A reading device 2 receives the transmission signal REV from the CPU10 through a terminal 4c and an amplifier 14 and then demodulates the data at a receiving part of the rear stage. In such a way, the transfer of data between the reception signal 2 and a memory card 1 and the power supply to the card 1 are all performed by electrostatic connection among terminals 4a-4c and 3a-3c respectively. This eliminates the electrical and mechanical contacts among those terminals. |
