PURPOSE:To prevent the disturbance in order of phase of a chrominance signal, by inserting a 1H delay circuit at the rewinding reproducing mode, in a compensating circuit switching a reproducing video signal and a delayed reproducing video signal every time when there exists any shift in the interval of horizontal synchronizing signals. CONSTITUTION:A common contact 8c of a switching circuit is selected to the position of contact 8a with a mode signal applied to an input terminal 2 in the high speed rewinding reproducing mode, a 1H delay circuit 7 is inserted in a signal path and the delay circuit 7 is excluded in other modes. When a 0.5H of skew is generated in the reproducing video signal, the output of a T FF 4 is inverted with an output of a detecting circuit 3 at each time, a switching circuit 9 is changed over and a delayed reproducing video signal and a reproducing video signal without delay are outputted alternately. The delay time of 0.5H of the delay circuit 6 is provided to compensate the skew and the 1H delay time of the delay circuit 7 is provided to compensate the disturbance in order of phase of the chrominance circuit. |
