<p>TRANSMISSION SELECTOR ROD SEALING A transmission rod selector assembly is provided including a novel seal for the housing at the entrance of the selector rod. The seal includes a woven or knit pile fabric having a first section with a resilient fiber pile, a second section including a low-friction fiber pile, a third section including a resilient fiber pile, and a fourth section including an electrically conductive fiber pile. The fabric strip is electrically connected to an accessory component, such as a lean burn system.</p> |
