PURPOSE:To disperse conductive fibers favorably in resin and to enlarge the aspect ratio of the fiber by a method wherein metallic fibers etc. in the form of the strand or roving are unravelled in the die of an extruder to be coated with thermoplastic synthetic resin. CONSTITUTION:Conductive fibers such as metallic fibers or carbon fibers are introduced from a fiber inlet 6 of a core bar 2 installed in the direction rectangular to a molten resin entrance 5 and taken out of a fiber outlet 7. Then, the conductive fibers are passed through the external periphery of a fiber guide 3 in the form of a cone a many-sided pyramid, expanded radially, interlocked each other with resin that has reached the guide part 10 of a mouth piece and guided to the land part 11 of the mouth piece. The fibers are cooled and hardened, then the resin 13 covering the conductive fibers 14 that was taken with a take-roll is cut with a pelletizer to obtain pellets 15. |
