PURPOSE:To lighten the weight of an oil fence as well as raise the ridigity, corrosion resistance, and chemical resistance of the oil fence by fitting an oil fence to a quaywall by using a float type fitting metal made of carbon fiber-based composite material. CONSTITUTION:In fitting an oil fence to a quaywall, a float type fitting metal made of a carbon fiber-based composite material, e.g., carbon fiber-epoxy resin composite materials, etc., is used. The float portion of the fitting metal is attached to the end of the oil fence, and the cylindrical fixing portion to house the float portion is fixed to the quaywall. The flat portion is designed to be vertically moved inside the upper and lower sides-opened cylinder of the fixing portion as the oil fence moves up and down. The various properties of the fitting metal can thus be upgraded. |
