The foldable caravan comprises a tent canvas and a trailer intended to contain this canvas, the latter being capable of being deployed after opening the articulated cover on one of the sides of the trailer, the tent canvas being supported by a main strut which is articulated to the trailer and by two secondary struts which are articulated in a slideable fashion on the uprights of the main strut. On the other side of the trailer is articulated a plate which can be folded down towards the outside of the trailer. At least one strut to which is fixed the canvas is articulated close to the aforementioned edge of the trailer, this strut being able to be folded down towards the outside of the trailer at the same time as the plate towards a position in which this strut holds the canvas at a certain height above the trailer.
