<p>Improvements to safety hooks provided with a pawl (1) articulated to the body of the hook (2) in its top portion opened towards the outside of said hook and provided with a retaining device which retains the free end of the hook body by the free end of the pawl. Said device is comprised of a contact plane face (f, f') on each of the parts receiving one a cylindrical protuberance (c) and the other one a cylindrical hole (t) so that upon closing the hook the cylinder penetrates in the hole and opposes any deformation of the hook body when the load is too high. The invention is particularly applied to lifting hooks.</p> |
