Arm-free door-closing device, consisting essentially of a bracket-like fitting (10) which can be screwed to the underside of the upper door frame (70) and which forms a receiving platform (13), extending laterally to the door frame, for a door closer (50) having a closer pin (51) projecting downwards through the platform (13). The closer pin engages into a corresponding lower recess (22) in the upper rotary fitting (20) to be fastened to the upper end of the door (60). Located at the lower end of the door is a corresponding lower rotary fitting (30), having a rotary-pin bore (31) into which a rotary pin (41), starting from a baseplate (40), projects and bears against an adjustable rotary-pin bolt (94). During the pivoting of the door, the rotary pin is rotated, and when the door is released, the rotary pin, by virtue of its restoring force, rotates the door back into the closed position. The lower rotary fitting (30) can additionally have one or two balancing-foot bores (30), into which projects a balancing foot (91) which consists, for example, of rubber and which bears against an adjustable stop (95) via a spring (93). These balancing feet support some of the door weight, thereby relieving the rotary pin (41) and ensuring a horizontal rotational movement of the door. The door-closing device makes do without the customary arm and essentially avoids the need for disfiguring mounting work on the visible parts of the door. <IMAGE>
