DIGITAL EDGE SUPER GENERATOR

摘要

PURPOSE:To generate a natural visual edge of a fixed width, by obtaining the distance between the raster position of a certain time point and a super-key signal in real time and then generating an edge in response to this obtaned distance. CONSTITUTION:A digital super-key signal SK is supplied to a V-direction distance calculating circuit 31 to calculate the V-direction distance between the signal SK and the raster position. The output signal obtained from the circuit 31 containing plural uni-horizontal cycle delay circuits is supplied to H-direction distance calculating circuits 320-324 respectively. These calculating circuits contain plural uni-picture element delay circuits corresponding to the edge width and obtain the horizontal distance between the signal SK and the raster position in response to the obtained V-direction distance. The outputs of circuits 320-324 are supplied to ROM330-334 respectively to obtain the Euclid distance between the signal SK and the raster position. This obtained distance is supplied to an ROM35 via a minimum value detecting circuit 34 and converted into a luminance level corresponding to the distance.
