PURPOSE:To obtain a measuring function having high accuracy at a low cost, by coupling a guide rail and a cover as one body in parallel, installing a carrier to the guide rail so as to be freely slidable, and providing a measuring chain in the cover. CONSTITUTION:A guide rail 1 and a cover 17 are coupled as one body in parallel, a carrier 2 is installed to the guide rail 1 so as to be freely slidable, a measuring chain is provided in the cover 17, this chain is made to go round between a measuring chain wheel 12 and two idlers 11 and is engaged with each other, and both terminals are clamped by both end faces of the cover 17 so that the tension is free. In this state, when the carrier 2 moves, the measuring chain wheel 12 rotates, so that a connected pulse transmitter 14 transmits. Also, the transmitting pulse is outputted by multiplying a chain elongation percentage and a pulse correcting coefficient. In this way, a measuring function having high accuracy can be obtained at a low cost. |
