LUBRICITY AND ABRASION TEST MACHINE

PURPOSE:To carry out a libricity and abrasion test in a state close to a using situation, by a method wherein a test piece is inlaid with the recessed part of an attachment base seat having curvature similar to that of the outer peripheral part of a rotary member of which the upper part is formed into a roll shape and pressed to a rotor in a lubricant existing state. CONSTITUTION:Slight curvature is provided to the surface of a roll shaped rotary member 1 which is in turn constituted so as to be selectively contancted with a test piece 3. This test piece 3 is inlaid with the recessed part provided to the central part of a concaved test piece attaching base seat 2 of which the upper part has curvature similar to that of the rotary member. A lubricant 4 is accommodated in a sump formed by providing side plates 5 to the base seat 2. The rotary member 1 is rotated through a torque meter 10 and a spindle 11 by a motor 9 and the test piece 3 is pressed to the rotary member 1 in such a state that the lubricant 7 is present by a pressure control mechanism 8. A heating mechanism 6 is provided in order to carry out an acceieration test and the temp. of the test piece can be controlled.
