<p>Improvements to stud welding equipment (11) having automatic stud feeding apparatus (10, 12). A stud receiving chamber (15) and receiving chamber entrance (16) are positioned for top loading of studs being fed through a stud loading tube (24). The stud loading tube (24) and attached stud feed tube (30) are detachably connected to the stud welding gun (11) by a stud block and disconnect assembly (27) which includes a transversely movable slide (34) which provides the dual function of providing a detachable interlock with the stud welding gun (11) and blockage of the stud loading tube (24) when the assembly is detached.</p> |
