A dead tank circuit breaker comprises a grounded tank, bushings placed on the tank, an interrupting means housed in the tank and having both ends extended out through the respective bushings, and a capacitor arranged in the neighborhood of at least one of the bushings, wherein the capacitor has one terminal electrically and mechanically connected to the leading end of the bushing and the other terminal electrically and mechanically connected to the grounded tank. |
