摘要 |
PURPOSE:To enhance thermal efficiency and reduce idling knock by a large margin by forming an inner surface of a cavity capable of diffusing fuel by impact reaction of the fuel jetted out of a fuel injection nozzle and made to collide against the impact surface within the cavity. CONSTITUTION:The central part of a fuel jet flow 2 from a single hole nozzle 1 in the neighborhood of a nozzle hole 3 is in a liquid phase like a rigid body. Evaporation goes on in an area A around the jet flow. A main jet flow reaching an impact surface 4 is then distributed and directed (5) toward an inner circumference of a cavity due to impact reaction and is further heated there to become a fuel cluster B. Coarse fuel particles in the fuel cluster B further reach the cavity wall and are widely diffused over the entire circumference surface and rapidly accelerated to evaporate as shown with C.
