PURPOSE:To enable the holding the annual difference within n sec for a time piece which deviates by n sec per day by correcting time receiving and identifying a time signal to keep the annular difference accuracy within 1sec semipermanently as long as the battery permits. CONSTITUTION:A built-in receiving circuit 109 is adjusted to tune to the NHK first broadcast (broadcasting signal of 594kHz) or the NHK second broadcast (broadcasting signal of 693kHz) and an AM detection output signal is inputted into a time signal identifying circuit 110. The time signal identifying circuit 110 works to identify the time signal contained in the AM detection output signal (ADW), only when a time signal generation time range signal generates HIG from a forecasting circuit 111 and outputs a time informing signal TIS upon the recognition of the time signal. As the time signal is informed by voice, the AM detection output signal contains a signal component corresponding to the time signal voice. Therefore, the recognition of the time voice signal corresponds to the time signal generation time. A correction circuit clears the contents of a sec counter 103 to 00 with the generation of the time informing signal TIS to correct the current time according to the time signal. |
