To prevent the interference in stereo reception caused by adjacent- frequency transmitters, in the case of a stereo receiver provided with noise pulse blanking a blocking circuit is formed from an inductor of a delay component already provided for noise pulse blanking in the MPX signal path, and from a capacitor connected in parallel with the inductor, for a frequency band in which signal components may occur which generate interference in the stereo decoder.
