PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the photographic sensitive material stabilized in an early stage in photographic performances, such as fog, sensitivity, and gradation, and film strength, and reduced in time length from its manufacture to its delivery. SOLUTION: This photographic sensitive material has a photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer on a polyester support and it is airtightly sealed and package in a relative humidity of >=60%. The area of the airtightly sealed and packaged photosensitive material and the volume of the airtightly sealed and packaged photosensitive material satisfy the following relational expression; Y>=aX, where Y [cm<-1> ] is a ratio of the area of the airtightly sealed and package photosensitive material to the volume of that, and X [cm<2> ] is the area of that, and a [cm<-3> ] is a constant of 3.2×10<-2> .
