PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve photosensor output in the same dimension in an X-ray detector for which a scintillator for absorbing X-rays and emitting light and a photosensor for converting the light to electric signals are combined. SOLUTION: In the detector 5 of this X-ray CT device, the photosensor 2 of a detector element 4 is arranged in a chevron shape. When the X-rays enter the scintillator 1, the energy is absorbed, the light is emitted, the light is detected by the chevron-shaped photosensor 2 and reflected light is detected by the chevron-shaped photosensor 2 again as well. Thus, compared to a planar photosensor, a practical light quantity capturing rate is improved.
