PURPOSE:To obtain easily the special effect without providing many equipments to a home-use video system, by installing a built-in signal processing circuit which gives the special effects on the video, to a video camera. CONSTITUTION:A video camera 18 is provided with a lens and an image pickup part 9 which generate a video signal, and a signal generating circuit 13 which gives the special effects on the video. The video signal out of the image pickup part 9 is supplied to a switching circuit 11 via an amplifying circuit 10, and the signal for the special effects out of the circuit 13 is also supplied to the circuit 11. A vertical synchronizing signal out of a synchronizing signal generating circuit 16 is counted by a vertical synchronizing signal counter 15 and supplied to the circuit 11 via a switching circuit 14, and the synchronizing signal out of the signal generating circuit 16 is supplied to a television signal synthesizing circuit 12. The circuit 11 selectively switches the video signal out of the image pickup part 9 and the special effects out of the circuit 13 and outputs them to the circuit 12 and exerting the special effect on the video to output to a video tape recorder 7. |
