<p>PURPOSE:To constitute an inexpensive intervehicle signal transmitting device, by converting an input signal into an encoded pulse signal and transmitting and receiving it in the form of light or an ultrasonic wave. CONSTITUTION:A transmitting device 10 provided near the front window of a vehicle has the signal input device 14 consisting of a voide recognizing ECU22 stored with previously registered words, documents, etc., and a microphone 20 and this input device 14 recognizes a voice from the microphone 20 to output the recognition signal of a word to an encoder 16. The encoder 16 encodes the signal from the ECU22 or a keyboard and supplies the encoded signal to the transmitter 18 consisting of a transistor 24 and a light emitting diode 26. The transmitter 18 sends said encoded signal as light pulses to the receiver 12 in a vehicle which runs before the transmitter. The signal received by the photodiode 36 of the receiver 12 and regenerated by a decoder 32 is regenerated into a voice signal by a signal output device 34 having a voice synthesizing ECU38.</p> |
