PURPOSE:To provide an ink viscosity controller capable of controlling the viscosity of ink at a constant value by such an arrangement wherein magnetism is added to buoyance acting on a float which ascends or descends by utilizing the difference of specific gravity, and the opening and closing of a valve are carried out positively by the float and solvent liquid is supplied through the valve as necessary. CONSTITUTION:A permanent magnet is embedded in the upper surface of a float 10 provided in a tank 3 of mixed liquid, and another permanent magnet of different polarity is installed to the underside of the bottom of a tank 4 of solvent liquid at such a position opposing to the permanent magnet of the float. When the float 10 reaches a specified position as it ascends along a guide stem 13, attracting force between magnets is added to the buoyance of the float 10 and its buoyant force abruptly increases and the upper surface of the float pushes up the valve stem of a valve 15 and opens the valve. |
